Hon. Edward Baiden Aggrey, the Presiding Member (PM) for the District Assembly of Twifo Ati-Morkwa, born July 9, 1978, was elected by the District Assembly and assumed office on the 23^rd of January, 2020.

The honourable Presiding Member is a born-bred native of Twifo Ati-Morkwa, precisely, Twifo Moseaso which he fondly calls his ‘Holy Village. He obtained his basic education in Twifo Moseaso, after which he obtained his Senior High School certificate from Jukwa Senior High School. He was awarded a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing at Cape Coast Polytechnic, a bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and a master Business Administration degree in Marketing.

He has been an assembly member in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District for four (4) terms. He served as the Assembly Member elect of Moseaso-Somnyamekodur electoral area for two (2) terms. In a bid to challenge his aptitudes, he relocated to Twifo Praso in 2015, where he contested and won the District Level Elections as the Assembly Member for Esikafo Anbantem electoral area, twice (2-times) in a row.

Career wise, he ascended the ladder of a District Manager for National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for the Twifo Atti-Morkwa chapter after he moved through the ranks of a Focal officer and a Public Relations Officer for the same institution. He adds on as the Regional Chairman for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) union. He is also the Director and Founder of Agent for Global Change (AGLOC), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) which seeks to impact lives by changing it for the better.

He is married with two (2) children.
