DCE Supports Fresh SHS Students in Birim North

The gesture, which formed part of efforts to promote education and support young people in the district, saw the beneficiaries receive school bags, pillows, rubber buckets and exercise books to assist them as they begin their secondary education.

The initiative is expected to help families meet some of the basic requirements associated with the transition from basic school to Senior High School.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Abiremhene and Chairman of the occasion, Obrempong Nana Akwasi Amoh Kyeretwie I, traditional rulers, the DCE, District Coordinating Director, heads of various security services, political representatives and other stakeholders.

Addressing the gathering, the MCE reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education and creating opportunities for young people in the District.
He said investing in the education of young people was critical to the future development of the district, urging the beneficiaries to take their studies seriously, remain disciplined and make good use of the opportunity provided to them.
The Abiremhene and Chairman of the occasion, Obrempong Nana Akwasi Amoh Kyeretwie I, commended the DCE for the initiative and expressed appreciation for the support extended to the students and their families.

He encouraged the beneficiaries to work hard, uphold good character and strive to become responsible citizens who would contribute meaningfully to the development of Birim North and Ghana as a whole.
The gesture is expected to provide some relief to parents while motivating the students to remain focused on their academic pursuits.
