MCE, Education Director Welcome KG1 Pupils To School

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), together with the Regional Director of Education, has visited selected schools in the municipality to welcome KG1 pupils as they began their first day of school.

The visit, which took place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, formed part of efforts to encourage young learners and support a smooth transition into formal education.

The team visited Adweso Mile 50 Basic School, Adweso SDA Basic School and Trinity Royal Basic School, where they interacted with the newly enrolled pupils and their teachers.

As part of the visit, the MCE presented basic learning materials to the KG1 pupils to support their studies and make their early learning experience more enjoyable.

Addressing the pupils, the MCE Ranford Owusu Boakye encouraged them to take their education seriously, listen attentively to their teachers and develop good learning habits from an early age.

The MCE also wished all young learners a happy, successful and rewarding start to their educational journey, while expressing optimism that the pupils would grow into responsible and productive citizens.
