Fanteakwa South District Assembly Supports Teachers with 80 Tables, 80 Chairs and 70 Cupboards

The Fanteakwa South District Assembly in the Eastern Region has taken another step towards improving teaching and learning conditions with the provision of 80 teachers’ tables, 80 teachers’ chairs and 70 wooden cupboards to schools across the district.

The intervention follows the Assembly’s earlier donation of desks and chairs for pupils in schools across the district, and responds to a further request from teachers for appropriate furniture and storage facilities to support effective teaching and classroom management.

The items were formally handed over to the headmasters of the beneficiary schools. A representative designated by the District Education Director also graced the occasion and supported the handover process on his behalf.

The provision of the teachers’ furniture and cupboards is expected to help educators organise teaching materials, prepare lessons more efficiently and maintain a more structured classroom environment.

The Assembly noted that dedicated teachers’ furniture and secure storage facilities would contribute to strengthening the quality of teaching and learning, while creating better working conditions for educators.

The intervention forms part of the Assembly’s broader commitment to supporting both learners and teachers and ensuring that children across the Fanteakwa South District have the opportunity to thrive.

The Assembly reaffirmed its resolve to continue responding to the educational needs of schools and communities through targeted interventions that improve the learning environment.
