The ceremony, held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, brought together members of the two families of Danchira, traditional leaders, community stakeholders, invited guests and staff of the Ga South Municipal Assembly.

The project forms part of the Danchira Community Development Agenda and seeks to equip young people in the community with practical and employable skills while creating opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

Phase One of the project will comprise a Textiles and Garment Training Centre, a Digital Skills and Solar Microgrid Centre with an Appliances Retail component, as well as a Mobile Mechanics and Repairs Centre.

The initiative is expected to provide young people with access to relevant vocational and technical training to enhance their employability and support the development of sustainable livelihoods.

Speaking at the ceremony, stakeholders expressed their commitment to supporting the project and ensuring its successful implementation for the benefit of the Danchira community and surrounding areas.
