Ablekuma West Begins Construction of 18-Unit Classroom Block at Ebenezer SHS

The Ablekuma West Constituency in the Greater Accra Region has taken a significant step towards improving educational infrastructure with the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of an 18-unit classroom block at Ebenezer Senior High School.

The project is expected to help address infrastructure deficits, ease congestion and create a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.

The initiative forms part of the government’s broader commitment to investing in education and expanding opportunities for young people across the country.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Ablekuma West representative expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama, the Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, and the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) for considering the constituency in the equitable distribution of national resources.

He noted that the project went beyond the construction of classrooms, describing it as an investment in opportunity, empowerment and a brighter future for students.

According to him, the new classroom block would go a long way towards improving the learning environment at Ebenezer Senior High School while bringing relief to parents, guardians, teachers and students.

He reaffirmed the constituency’s belief that education remains a cornerstone of development, adding that the project would inspire hope and contribute to the long-term educational advancement of Ablekuma West.

The sod-cutting ceremony marks the beginning of a project expected to strengthen educational infrastructure and support improved academic outcomes in the constituency.
