During a brief presentation ceremony, the assembly, led by the District Chief Executive (DCE), donated a total of GH¢20,000 to assist the school in its final preparations for the national contest.
Presenting the cheque, the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Fiattor Venunye Korbla, who represented the DCE, Hon. Ceaser Ofosu Acheampong, stated that the contribution reflects the assembly’s commitment to motivating the students to perform at their best and secure victory for both the school and the district.
He reaffirmed the assembly’s dedication to rewarding the team should they emerge victorious, noting, “What you have received is just a token of our support. We are prepared to do more when you bring the ultimate prize home.”
Also present at the event, the Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Offinso North constituency, Mr. J.K. Ameyaw, applauded the teachers and students for qualifying for the grand finale. He encouraged them to remain focused, confident, and undeterred, urging them to aim for the ultimate prize to bring pride to the district.
In response, the students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the DCE and the assembly for the kind gesture. They pledged to give their best in the competition to uplift the image of their school and the district at large.
