He emphasized that since 2012, Gbetsile has consistently been a reliable partner in providing land, even when others were hesitant. This longstanding support has enabled the assembly to secure sites for essential infrastructure, including:

* A Fire Service station

* An ongoing 2-storey Health Centre

* A Police Station

* A District Office for the Ghana Water Company Limited

* A Circuit Court

Most recently, the Traditional Authorities have allocated a 3.5-acre plot for a planned 24-Hour Market project.

"Regarding the 24-Hour Market initiative, Kpone Katamanso was among the very first municipalities to submit all required documentation," stated Mr. Morton. "Consultants from the Ministry of Local Government have already inspected and approved the site. We are now awaiting the final drawings and specifications to proceed. As a government flagship program, we anticipate a groundbreaking that will launch all components of the project at once. Kpone Katamanso is fully prepared for this development."

In related efforts to improve market facilities, the MCE added that the Assembly is engaging with leaders of the existing municipal market to implement a decongestion exercise. This aims to ensure well-laid access lanes are maintained and clear.

Furthermore, a separate two-storey market store project is underway. Upon completion, it will provide designated selling spaces for traders currently operating without proper shades. This initiative is designed to reduce the proliferation of makeshift structures and containers that contribute to market congestion.
