The boreholes form part of the Assembly's efforts to enhance the living conditions of residents by expanding access to essential social amenities.

The project is expected to improve public health by providing clean water, reduce the burden of travelling long distances to fetch water especially for women and children and contribute to the socio-economic development of the beneficiary communities.

Residents welcomed the intervention and expressed gratitude to the Assembly for addressing their longstanding water challenges.

The Municipal Chief Executive Mr. Yakubu Issifu therefore  reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to promoting inclusive development through the provision of critical infrastructure and basic social services to improve the quality of life for people across the Municipality.
