The facility was officially unveiled by the Chief Director of the Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council (ERCC), Mr. Ebenezer Amoah, during his familiarization visit to the Assembly.

The Resource Centre was established under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Paul Osae Offei, and the Assembly's Management as part of efforts to strengthen the capacity and productivity of staff.

The facility provides staff with access to digital resources, research materials and meeting facilities, while also creating space for collaborative work, learning and innovation.

The Assembly expects the Resource Centre to serve as an enabling environment where staff can enhance their knowledge, improve their skills and access relevant information needed to perform their duties effectively.

The initiative forms part of the Assembly's broader commitment to investing in human resource development and institutional capacity, with the objective of improving administrative performance and ensuring efficient, responsive and quality public service delivery to residents.

The establishment of the facility further demonstrates the Assembly's recognition that a well-equipped and knowledgeable workforce is essential to achieving its development objectives and meeting the needs of the people within the Municipality
