MCE presents start-up equipment to National Apprenticeship Program participants

The Municipal Chief Executive for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Philibert Selorm Fummey, has presented sewing machines, knitting machines, hair dryers, and other training equipment to trainers and trainees under the National Apprenticeship Program in the municipality.

The presentation ceremony, held at the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly Hall, formed part of ongoing efforts to empower the youth with employable skills and promote economic self-reliance within the municipality.

Addressing participants at the event, the MCE challenged both trainers and trainees to take full advantage of the opportunities provided under the National Apprenticeship Program. He urged them to remain committed, disciplined, and focused in order to maximize the benefits of the initiative.
 

He further advised trainers to strictly adhere to the core mandate of the program by delivering quality and comprehensive skills training to the beneficiaries. To the trainees, he emphasized the importance of respect, humility, and dedication in mastering their chosen trades.

The MCE expressed heartfelt gratitude to John Dramani Mahama for his commitment to advancing skills development among the youth and taking decisive steps toward addressing youth unemployment across the country.

The initiative is expected to enhance vocational training delivery in Nsawam Adoagyiri and equip beneficiaries with the tools needed to start and sustain their own businesses.
