Pru West MP and DCE Support 150 PWDs with Livelihood Assistance

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Pru West Constituency in the Bono East Region, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Ntekuni, together with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Pru West District, Hon. Samuel Agyapong, has supported 150 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the district with various livelihood assistance.

The support included deep freezers, fufu machines and financial assistance, aimed at empowering the beneficiaries with tools and resources to establish or expand small-scale businesses and generate sustainable income.

The initiative forms part of efforts by the MP and the Pru West District Assembly to promote social inclusion and improve the economic wellbeing of Persons with Disabilities across the district.

Hon. Ntekuni and Hon. Agyapong expressed their commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and creating opportunities that would enable PWDs to become economically independent and contribute meaningfully to the development of the Pru West District and the Bono East Region.

The beneficiaries are expected to utilise the support to generate commercial returns, improve their household incomes and enhance their livelihoods.
