The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, together with the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ayawaso East Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Baba Jamal, Assembly Members and residents, inspected the completed project and officially opened it for public use.

Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim expressed appreciation to Hon. Ahmed Baba Jamal for his advocacy and efforts towards securing the project for the area.

In response, Hon. Ahmed Baba Jamal commended the MCE for his hands-on leadership, close supervision and commitment to ensuring that the project was executed to the required standard from its commencement to completion.

The MP further described Hon. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim as one of the best-performing MCEs in the country, citing his dedication to development and the welfare of residents of the municipality.

Hon. Ahmed Baba Jamal also expressed appreciation to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, and the Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, for their support towards the successful completion of the project.

The completion of the pavement is expected to improve accessibility, ease movement and enhance the general environment around the Nima Gutter area.
