Ayawaso East Commissions Four Development Projects

The Ayawaso East Municipality has commissioned four development projects aimed at improving education, sanitation, water access and the general environment for residents.

The projects were commissioned by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Abdul Ganiyu Ibrahim, together with the Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso East Constituency, Hon. Ahmed Baba Jamal.

The projects include the rehabilitation of a two-storey, 12-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the Nima Cluster of Schools.

Also commissioned was the beautification of the Nima Roundabout, intended to improve the appearance and overall environment of the municipality.

In the area of sanitation, a 20-seater water closet facility has been rehabilitated for Flagstaff House Basic School, while a 12-seater facility has also been provided for the Nima Cluster of Schools.

The fourth project involves the construction of mechanised boreholes to provide reliable access to potable water for users of the Nima Market, Nima Police Station and the Nima Cluster of Schools.

The projects form part of ongoing efforts by the Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly to address key infrastructure needs and improve living and working conditions within the municipality.

The MCE and the MP reaffirmed their commitment to supporting projects that contribute to development and improve the welfare of residents.
