Sefwi Bodi DCE confirmed, pledges to improve agriculture and healthcare

Mr. Stephen Baidoo, President's nominee for the District Chief Executive (DCE) position for Bodi in the Western North Region, has been overwhelming endorsed by the 16 assembly members, securing all the votes cast, representing a unanimous 100 percent endorsement by the Assembly Members.

His confirmation marks a new chapter for the district, as he has pledged to drive economic transformation, particularly through agriculture and healthcare infrastructure development.

According to him, the endorsement indicates a significant vote of confidence in his leadership and vision for the district's future.

He expressed his readiness to champion upon the improvement of agriculture practices, better healthcare facilities, and overall community empowerment in order to alleviate poverty.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Baidoo expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC government for their trust in him.

He promised to serve the district diligently and support the party's agenda to drive development in Bodi District.

The DCE continued to extend heartfelt appreciation to the national, regional, constituency executives, Western Regional Minister, and assembly members for the confidence reposed in him.

He assured them of his commitment and dedication towards the resetting agenda and the fulfilment of the aspirations of the people. He stated.

The Western North Regional Minister, Mr. Wilbert Petty Brentum underscores the readiness to support the new District Chief Executive to fight against illegal mining activities in the area.
