The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson, presented the awards during a strategic review meeting with the revenue collection team. The session, which also included the Coordinating Director, the District Finance Officer, and other senior staff, was held to assess the collectors’ performance over the past year.
During the roundtable discussion, management and collectors reviewed the challenges hindering effective revenue mobilization and brainstormed strategies to improve collection in the coming years.
Addressing the award recipients, Hon. Johnson urged them to view the recognition as a call to greater service. He emphasized that increasing the district's internally generated revenue is crucial for funding development projects.

“Your dedication directly impacts our ability to bring progress to this district. I task you to improve your performance to boost the Assembly’s revenue base," the DCE stated. "With more funds, we can undertake the necessary infrastructure and social projects that our communities desperately need."
Mr. Kyere Kwame Domfeh, the Techiman North District Revenue Head, praised the DCE for the leadership and mechanisms put in place, which he noted have led to a noticeable improvement in revenue collection.
Expressing their gratitude, some of the awarded collectors thanked the DCE and management for the honour. They pledged to redouble their efforts to ensure the Assembly meets its revenue targets in the coming fiscal period.
The awards form part of a broader initiative by the Assembly to formalize the revenue collection system and encourage a performance-driven culture among its staff.
