Ayawaso East Receives Major Relief Donation from Alhaji Seidu Agongo

Businessman Alhaji Seidu Agongo has donated relief items to support victims of the June 29 floods in the Ayawaso East Municipality. The donation, comprising 509 bags of rice, 500 tins of tomato paste, and 50 cartons of milk, is intended to provide immediate relief to families affected by the devastating floods and support their recovery efforts.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ayawaso East, Hon. Abdul Gamyu Ibrahim led the municipality in receiving the donation on behalf of the affected residents.

Hon.Gamyu, described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that the items would go a long way in easing the burden on flood-hit households.

On behalf of the Assembly and the people of Ayawaso East, the MCE expressed profound appreciation to Alhaji Seidu Agongo for his generosity, compassion, and commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during difficult times.

The Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to working with individuals, corporate organizations, and development partners to provide assistance to affected residents and strengthen community resilience in the aftermath of the floods.
