Agotime-Ziope District Assembly Warns Public Against Using Flooded Kpetoe Bridge

The Agotime-Ziope District Assembly has issued a public safety advisory following flooding at the Kpetoe Bridge and several surrounding communities caused by recent heavy rainfall in the district.

In a statement, the Assembly urged residents and motorists to avoid crossing the flooded bridge or attempting to walk or drive through floodwaters, warning that such actions pose significant risks to lives and property.

According to the Assembly, it is working closely with the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and other relevant agencies to monitor developments and respond appropriately to the situation.

The Assembly advised the public to stay away from affected areas, comply with all safety directives issued by authorities, and promptly report any emergencies to the appropriate agencies.
