According to the MCE, the Works Department plays a critical role in the planning, supervision, and maintenance of infrastructure projects, and the new vehicle will facilitate field operations, improve coordination, and ensure the timely monitoring and implementation of development projects throughout the municipality.
Hon. Osae further disclosed that the vehicle was procured entirely through the Assembly's Internally Generated Fund (IGF), describing the achievement as a testament to the Assembly's commitment to prudent financial management, self-reliance, and sustainable local development.
Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the Assembly, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Emmanuel Appiah-Kubi, expressed his appreciation to the Municipal Chief Executive and the Assembly for the timely intervention.
He assured that the vehicle would be used solely for official duties and properly maintained to ensure its longevity and maximize its contribution to effective service delivery.
The presentation of the vehicle underscores the Akuapim South Municipal Assembly's commitment to equipping its departments with the necessary logistics to enhance operational efficiency and deliver quality services to residents.
