The projects, funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), form part of government's efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and provide a conducive environment for pupils and teachers.
The completed facilities comprise a six-unit classroom block with an ICT room, office and store at St. Paul Anglican Experimental School in Kwahu Obo, as well as a three-unit kindergarten classroom block with ancillary facilities for the Koranteng community.
Commissioning the projects, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey stated that the investment demonstrates government's commitment to creating better opportunities for children by improving educational facilities across the country.

She noted that the provision of modern classroom infrastructure would help reduce pressure on existing facilities, enhance effective teaching and learning, and contribute to improved academic outcomes among pupils.
The Regional Minister commended the Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu South, Hon. Effah Osei Bonsu David, traditional authorities, contractors and all stakeholders whose contributions ensured the successful completion of the projects.
She further urged the beneficiary communities, school authorities and Parent-Teacher Associations to cultivate a strong maintenance culture to preserve the facilities for future generations.
The projects are expected to significantly improve learning conditions at the beneficiary schools and reinforce efforts to expand access to quality basic education within the Kwahu South Municipality.
