During the visit, the DCE held a stakeholder meeting with community leaders, residents, and other stakeholders to discuss the developmental needs of the communities and gather first-hand information on issues affecting the people. Several critical challenges requiring urgent attention were highlighted during the engagement.

Hon. Babanawo urged residents to continue supporting the District Assembly's development agenda, emphasizing that unity, collaboration, and collective effort are essential to addressing the pressing challenges facing the communities and accelerating development across the district.

As part of the visit, District Engineers accompanied the DCE to conduct a technical assessment of an abandoned health facility in the community. The facility, which has remained uncompleted for several years, was inspected to determine the cost implications of completing the project and facilitate swift action towards making it operational. The move is expected to improve access to quality healthcare services for residents of the island communities.

In a bid to enhance security and improve living conditions, Hon. Babanawo also donated eight giant solar street lights to Kokrobuta/Adampe and neighbouring communities. The street lights are expected to improve visibility at night, boost security, support economic activities, and promote the safety and well-being of residents.

The DCE expressed gratitude to the people for their support during the 2024 general elections and reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with traditional authorities, community members, development partners, and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable development initiatives across the Kwahu Afram Plains North District.

Hon. Babanawo assured residents that the Assembly remains focused on improving infrastructure, healthcare delivery, and the overall quality of life of the people in the district.
