All the projects are to be funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund.

Mr. Jerry Yao Ameko, Adaklu District Chief Executive speaking at the ceremony told the contractors that the projects are not "wants but needs" of the beneficiary schools and communities.

He appealed to them to attach the utmost importance to the projects as they would help the district in its accelerated development programme.

"We need all these facilities because they would help boost the image of Adaklu so we are relying heavily on you to deliver quality work," he said.

Mr. Ameko noted that President John Mahama's Reset Agenda was not far from Adaklu "it is here with us, we can all see the signs," he stated.

He pledged the District Assembly's support for the contractors and asked the Works Department of the Assembly to intensify its supervision of the projects.

He also called on the beneficiary communities to join hands and support the contractors to complete the projects as scheduled.

He congratulated the contractors for winning the contracts and hoped they would deliver satisfactory work. "When success comes, we shall all benefit from it," he noted.

All the projects are scheduled to be completed in12 months.
