The award recognised the Chapter’s remarkable growth, strong community engagement and impactful programmes since its launch in November 2024.

Since its establishment, the Chapter has organised several training sessions and events aimed at equipping members with practical and future-ready skills in areas such as personal branding, project management, data analytics, artificial intelligence for productivity, leadership and digital literacy.

Mrs Luvina Sandra Atsu, Chapter Director of Women in Tech Ghana, said the organisation had also promoted social inclusion through outreach programmes and community support initiatives.

She noted that the Chapter had supported underserved schools in Accra with donations of essential learning materials and equipment.

The Women in Tech Global Summit 2026 brought together leaders from government, business and civil society to examine the status of women in technology and set priorities for the coming year.

The summit also served as a platform for dialogue and collaboration on emerging technologies and their role in driving inclusive and sustainable development.

Participants engaged in discussions on artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity and sustainable technology, while exploring ways to harness innovation to create opportunities for women and marginalised groups.

The event further aimed at inspiring action and fostering partnerships to empower women to take leadership roles in shaping technological advancement and its impact on society.

Mrs Atsu said the recognition reflected the collective dedication, resilience and impact of the Women in Tech Ghana community in advancing inclusion, innovation and opportunities for women.

“Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our dedicated leadership team, partners, sponsors, speakers, mentors and resource persons who contributed to the success of our programmes,” she added.
