Implementation Of Annual Action Plan

The Annual Plan presented in this section, shows the detail action needed by all sectors in the implementation of projects outlined for the first year 2006-2007 of the Medium Term Plan (2006-2009).  The short-term plan needs to be implemented strictly on the basis of the annual budget of the District Assembly.

The criteria for the selection of the annual projects include:

• On-going projects in the district
• Projects with short duration period
• Projects whose cost could be accommodated within the first year budget
• Projects which meet the immediate needs of the people and 
• Projects which require creation through public education programme
