The facility, which is about 90 percent complete, would serve the health needs of the communities and other neighboring communities which are also deprived of quality healthcare facilities.

It is being funded from the Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).

Eric Muah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), who recently visited the project site, told Ghanadistricts.com that, the Assembly was committed to improving quality healthcare delivery as part of meeting the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

He, therefore, pledged to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated time.

He also ceased the opportunity to urge the contractors, to work hard not only to meet the deadline but to also make sure that there was value for money.

He called on the residents of the area to rally behind the government since it was bent on tackling the health needs of the people, especially those in rural areas.
