ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (AAP)
Introduction

The AAP shows the programmes, sub-programmes, broad activities, location, timeframe, locations, cost, programme status and implementing institutions/departments in the various areas of the District for the plan period (2022-2025).

FORMATION OF PROGRAMMES OF ACTION (POA) FOR 2022-2025
 Introduction

Programmes of Actions are formed as a result of the engagement with the communities to ascertain their development needs and aspirations to identify their achievements and gaps from previous plans and the way forward to improving upon their needs andaspirations.

The Composite Programme of Action focuses on the District Development Programme of Action with the aim of corresponding with the development direction of the nation’s LTNDP.

The programme stipulates the needs of the District in that, all the projects were based on great consensus and in consultation with the various stakeholders and the communities aiming at ensuring fair distribution of every development needs by the end of the plan period.  The PoA was subjected to SEA Test to ensure sustainable development.

Assumption and Methodology used for Costing

The costing of the programmes was carried out based on the peaceful environment Ghana was enjoying under democratic rule since the year 1992 without any political interference. This has a particular trend in increasing goods and services in the country. The table below represent the Programme of Action for the plan period of 2022-2025.
