Healthcare delivery in the Afigya-Kwabre South District continues to benefit from a growing network of medical facilities aimed at improving access and service quality for residents.

The district hosts a mix of healthcare institutions, including hospitals, polyclinics, clinics, health centres, CHPS compounds, and maternity homes. At the heart of the district’s healthcare system is the Ankaase Methodist Faith Healing Hospital, which serves as the district hospital and located at Ankaase.

Residents of Kodie, the district capital, can access the facility within approximately 30 minutes, ensuring timely access to essential medical services.

Healthcare delivery in the district is further strengthened by the proximity of major facilities in neighbouring areas.
