The project is being undertaken through collaboration between Beast Philanthropy and West Akyem Cooperative Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Union Limited.
The sod-cutting ceremony marked the official commencement of works on the health facility, which is expected to enhance primary healthcare services and bring quality medical care closer to residents of Akyem Mante and surrounding communities.
Following the ceremony, Hon. Eric Ahinakwa proceeded to Asibirim to inspect ongoing development projects within the district. The inspection formed part of the Assembly’s monitoring efforts to ensure quality and timely execution of projects aimed at improving the living conditions of residents.
The DCE later engaged residents of Akim Manso and Akim Asuboa over the ongoing Accra-Kumasi Express Road project.
The engagement brought together community members, representatives from the Ghana Armed Forces, who are serving as contractors on the road project, as well as officials from the Ghana Highway Authority.
The discussions focused on concerns affecting residents and measures being implemented to ensure smooth execution of the road project while minimizing inconveniences to affected communities.
Hon. Eric Ahinakwa reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with stakeholders and communities to promote development and improve infrastructure across the district.
He noted that collaboration, transparency, and active community participation remain critical in achieving the vision of resetting and building a stronger and more development.
