The District Director of Social Welfare and Community Development, Mengisto Opoku Akowuah, revealed that the initiative is being implemented with direct support from the Ghana AIDS Commission, underscoring the fact that the effort forms part of a broader national strategy to intensify the HIV/AIDS response at the grassroots level.
