At Noyem, residents embarked on extensive clean-up activities, clearing drains, removing refuse and improving sanitation conditions within the community. Addressing participants after the exercise, Hon. Hakeem Antwi Abdul commended residents for their resilience and dedication to the sanitation campaign.

In a gesture of support towards local development, the DCE donated 100 bags of cement to assist an ongoing community project, describing community-led initiatives as essential drivers of grassroots development.

The delegation later proceeded to Nwinso, where residents also turned out in their numbers to participate in the clean-up exercise. Hon. Hakeem Antwi Abdul praised the community for its enthusiasm and commitment to the National Sanitation Day programme.

He noted that maintaining a clean environment remains a shared responsibility and called on residents to sustain good sanitation practices beyond the monthly exercise.

The DCE further emphasized that the National Sanitation Day initiative aligns with government's broader objective of building cleaner, healthier and more sustainable communities across the country.

Community leaders and residents expressed appreciation to the District Assembly for its continued support and pledged to uphold sanitation standards to protect public health and enhance the overall appearance of their communities.
