Akuapim South Assembly Unveils Resource Centre to Enhance Staff Capacity and Service Delivery

The Akuapim South Municipal Assembly has unveiled a newly established Resource Centre aimed at strengthening staff capacity, improving administrative efficiency, and enhancing public service delivery within the municipality.

The facility was officially commissioned by the Chief Director of the Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council (ERCC), Mr. Ebenezer Amoah, during his familiarization visit to the Assembly.

The Resource Centre, established under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Paul Osae Offei, and the Assembly's Management, has been equipped with digital resources, research materials, meeting facilities, and collaborative workspaces to support staff in the effective discharge of their responsibilities.

The centre is expected to serve as a hub for continuous learning, research, innovation, and knowledge sharing, while promoting teamwork and improving overall institutional productivity.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Amoah commended the Assembly for the initiative, describing it as a significant investment in human resource development and institutional strengthening. He noted that equipping staff with the right tools and learning resources is essential to improving governance and ensuring efficient service delivery to residents.

Hon. Paul Osae Offei reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to building a competent and motivated workforce capable of meeting the growing demands of local governance. He indicated that the establishment of the Resource Centre forms part of broader efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and improve operational efficiency.

The initiative underscores the Akuapim South Municipal Assembly's dedication to creating an enabling working environment for its staff while advancing the government's agenda of promoting effective local governance and responsive public service delivery.
