Over 30 community police and 13 Fire Assistants pass out in Atwima Nwabiagya South

A total of 31 Community Police and 13 Fire Service Assistants, recruited under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region have passed out.

The recruits made up of eight females and five males for the Fire Service Assistants, as well as 18 males and 12 females community police assistants selected from the various communities in the Municipality are set to be dispatched to their duty stations next week.  

Mr. Wisdom Osei Boamah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) addressing them, during the passing out ceremony, stressed the need for integrity and hard work at their youthful age to create good names and images for future opportunities in their lives.  

He asked them to discharge their duties diligently to gain the needed experience and win the confidence of their superiors for possible engagement in the future.  

He also told them to prepare themselves practically and academically to enhance their opportunity for future recruitments into the security services.  

“Be committed to duty, submissive to your commanders and respectful to your seniors through humility”, he stated.  

Mr. Boamah commended them for enduring the training sessions and asked them to transfer that and the discipline they exhibited at the training centres into practical life.  

Mr. Abdul Aziz Muawiyah, the Municipal YEA Director, appealed to the youth in the area, especially graduates, to stay alert for the next recruitment exercise.  

He mentioned Arabic Teaching and National Insurance Commission as the next available modules for recruitments.
