The projects, awarded to Luanga Lane Ltd, were officially handed over on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and are expected to significantly enhance teaching and learning conditions across the district.

They include a modern one-storey 12-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Tolon Senior High School, as well as a six-unit classroom block complemented by a 12-seater toilet facility at Tali Naa Abdulai Junior High School.

These interventions are aimed at reducing classroom congestion, improving sanitation, and creating a more conducive learning environment for both students and teachers.

Hon. Braimah Seidu noted that the projects form part of broader efforts by the Assembly to strengthen educational infrastructure and ensure quality education delivery within the district.

In a related development, he disclosed that steps are currently underway to secure approval from GETFund for the construction of a perimeter fence wall around Tolon Senior High School to enhance security and protect school property.
