Nawuhugu Gets Modern Kindergarten School as Northern Regional Minister Commissions Facility

Access to quality early childhood education in the Gushegu Municipality has received a major boost following the commissioning of a newly completed Kindergarten School Block at Nawuhugu by the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Ali Adolf John.

The facility was commissioned during the Minister's working tour of development projects across the municipality ahead of a Town Hall Meeting organized by the Gushegu Municipal Assembly.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Ali Adolf John emphasized the critical role of early childhood education in shaping the future of children and building productive communities.

He noted that investing in educational infrastructure at the foundational level remains one of the most effective ways of reducing poverty and creating opportunities for future generations.

The Regional Minister reiterated government's commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of geographical location, has access to quality educational facilities and a conducive learning environment.

Residents and education stakeholders welcomed the project, describing it as a timely intervention that will improve enrolment, teaching and learning outcomes in the community.

The facility is expected to provide a safe and child-friendly environment for pupils while supporting government's broader agenda of improving educational infrastructure across the country.

The commissioning forms part of ongoing efforts by the Gushegu Municipal Assembly to expand access to quality education and improve social services within the municipality.
