The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Gomoa Central, Hon. Hackman Kobina Aidoo, joined the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Constituency, Hon. Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus), to officially cut sod for the commencement of the projects at Gomoa Obuasi, Beseadze, and Aboso.

The projects, funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), will each comprise six classrooms and modern toilet facilities aimed at creating a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.

Addressing community members during the ceremonies, Hon. Hackman Kobina Aidoo praised the MP for facilitating the projects and described the initiative as a significant investment in the future of children in the district.

He noted that the new classroom blocks would help reduce infrastructure deficits in the beneficiary schools, improve academic conditions, and enhance access to quality education.

The DCE reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting educational development and ensuring that communities receive the infrastructure needed to improve learning outcomes.

Residents and education stakeholders welcomed the projects, expressing optimism that the new facilities would ease overcrowding, improve sanitation, and provide a safer learning environment for pupils and teachers.

The commencement of the projects underscores ongoing efforts by government and local authorities to strengthen educational infrastructure and support human capital development across the Gomoa Central District in the Central Region.
