Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa MP Supports 200 First-Year SHS Students with Educational Items
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah, together with the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District Assembly, has supported 200 first-year Senior High School (SHS) students with essential educational items to help ease the financial burden on parents and support the students as they begin their secondary education.

The district-wide distribution included trunks, mattresses, mosquito nets and cash support, aimed at helping the beneficiaries settle comfortably into their new schools and focus on their studies.
The initiative forms part of efforts to promote access to education and provide practical support to families within the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District.
The District Assembly welcomed the intervention, noting that initiatives that directly support children and strengthen access to education are essential to the future development of the district.
The Assembly reaffirmed its commitment to working with the MP and other stakeholders to support young people, empower families and build a stronger future for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa and the Central Region.
