The project forms part of government's commitment to expanding educational infrastructure and addressing classroom accommodation challenges in underserved communities.

Speaking during the sod-cutting ceremony, Hon. Ali Adolf John expressed confidence that the project would significantly enhance access to education and improve academic outcomes for schoolchildren in Yiborigu and surrounding areas.

He stressed that education remains a cornerstone of national development and that government is determined to provide the infrastructure necessary to support quality learning across the country.

The Regional Minister noted that the project aligns with the broader development vision of President John Dramani Mahama's administration, which seeks to promote inclusive growth and equitable access to social services.

Community leaders and residents welcomed the initiative and expressed appreciation to government and the Gushegu Municipal Assembly for responding to the educational needs of the area.

When completed, the classroom block is expected to ease congestion, provide a conducive learning environment and support efforts to improve educational standards within the municipality.

The project is one of several development interventions being implemented by the Gushegu Municipal Assembly to improve the living conditions of residents and accelerate socio-economic development in the area.
