The initiatives, covering both education and transportation, reflect the Assembly’s commitment to improving the living standards of residents.

The day commenced with the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the road linking Fawoade, through Louis Agyemang, to Yasore Junction. This project is expected to significantly enhance transportation and improve access within the municipality.

The delegation later proceeded to Asenua-Yasore for the groundbreaking of a new three-unit kindergarten classroom block. The facility is designed to provide a safe, modern, and conducive learning environment for early childhood education in the community.

The final ceremony took place in Abira, where work was officially launched on a six-unit classroom block, complete with a modern office and a store to support effective teaching and learning.

Addressing stakeholders at the final event, Mr. Amankwah noted that the projects represent the local realization of the vision of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to “build the Ghana we want,” emphasizing equitable access to quality education through improved educational infrastructure.

Speaking at the final ceremony, the MCE emphasized that these projects are a local manifestation of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s vision for "building the Ghana we want" a nation where quality education is accessible to every child through robust infrastructure.
