To expand this vibrant industry and create more employment opportunities, the District Assembly is exploring the establishment of a craft weaving village, supported with the necessary logistics and infrastructure.

The Assembly is also seeking partnerships with investors to promote the industry, enhance productivity, and ensure that the economic and cultural benefits of traditional weaving reach the community.

By fostering this sector, Afigya-Kwabre South aims to preserve cultural heritage while generating sustainable income for its youth, positioning traditional weaving as both a livelihood and a tourism attraction.
