The tour highlighted the MCE’s hands-on approach to governance. “It is important for a leader to inspect every project, not just sit in the office alone,” Hon. Masud stated, emphasizing proactive oversight.

A key focus of the visit was the inspection of the Nyomoase Ultra-Modern Maternity Block, a critical project aimed at improving healthcare quality and addressing maternal health challenges in the constituency. The MCE expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on the facility.

He also visited sites proposed by the Nyomoase Traditional Council for the establishment of a temporary police post. Hon. Masud assured the community of his administration’s commitment to security, pledging to initiate the temporary post with a view to constructing a permanent police station in the future.

The MCE was accompanied by a team including the Municipal Engineer, the Assistant Director, the Municipal Health Director, other assembly management staff, and local party members.

Officials and Community Respond

The Municipal Engineer, Mr. Isaac Appiah-Adjei, reported that the maternity project is on schedule. “So far, so good. The project has not been delayed, and we expect it to be completed by the close of February,” he said. He urged community members to support the contractor to ensure a timely and quality outcome.

On behalf of the Nyomoase Traditional Council, Nana Kwasi Gyan, Kyidomhene of Nyomoase, commended the MCE and former President John Dramani Mahama for the maternity block project. He further appealed to the MCE’s administration for immediate assistance on other pressing challenges facing the area.

The Traditional Council and community opinion leaders present expressed appreciation for the MCE’s visible leadership and renewed focus on delivering tangible development projects to improve living conditions in Nyomoase and the wider constituency.
