Speaking on behalf of his people, the chief expressed deep concern over the persistent abuse and insecurity faced by residents at the hands of criminals. He revealed that he has initiated direct engagements with the local police command, the Municipal Chief Executive, and the Member of Parliament for the Atebubu Amantin Municipality to secure support.

According to Nana Owusu Aduome, the community is fully prepared to support the initiative. “We have a building ready to serve as the police post, and accommodations for station officers are also available,” he stated.

Beyond security, the chief also highlighted the need for educational and agricultural investment. He appealed for the establishment of a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institute in the area, emphasizing its potential to equip the youth with practical skills for self-employment, community transformation, and economic growth.

“By providing relevant skills, we aim to bridge the gap between job seekers and the demands of the job market,” he explained. Nana Owusu Aduome described the proposed training center as an investment in the community’s future—one that would foster confidence, independence, and long-term prosperity.

His appeal included calls for funding, modern equipment, machinery, and qualified teaching staff to ensure the institution’s effectiveness. He also stressed the importance of government support, noting national educational reforms that prioritize technical and vocational education.

As a farming community, Nyomoase faces additional challenges during the farming season. The chief appealed to the Ministry of Agriculture and H.E. John Dramani Mahama to provide accessible farm machinery for hiring, which would help increase agricultural productivity.

“The cost of farm machinery remains high and constant, regardless of how often it is used within a season,” he noted, underscoring the need for shared resources to enhance output and livelihoods.
