Northern Regional Coordinating Council assesses Saboba Assembly's 2026 performance

A team from the Northern Regional Coordinating Council has conducted a working visit to the Saboba District Assembly to assess its performance for the first and second quarters of 2026.

The monitoring exercise focused on the Assembly's implementation of the 2026 Performance Contract, with attention to key performance areas and progress made during the first half of the year.

The team also reviewed the Assembly's project register to assess the physical progress of ongoing projects, including the 24-Hour Economy model market, as well as examined the Assembly's financial management systems.

At the end of the exercise, the monitoring team provided recommendations aimed at improving the Assembly's performance and strengthening project and financial management.

The District Chief Executive for Saboba, Hon. George Bilimor Wumbei, commended the team for undertaking the assessment and reviewing the Assembly's key documents.

He pledged the Assembly's commitment to implementing the recommendations to improve service delivery and accelerate development across the Saboba District.
