Sod-Cutting Ceremony Held for 24-Hour Economy Market in Duayaw Nkwanta

The project is expected to transform commercial activities in the area by providing improved infrastructure and creating an enabling environment for businesses to operate more efficiently.
The ceremony brought together key dignitaries from the Ahafo Region and the Tano North Municipality, including the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Mrs. Charity Gardener; Chief Director and Ahafo Regional Coordinator, Mr. Joseph Naayo Frimpong; Deputy Regional Director, Mr. Flentz Mensah; Tano South Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong; Regional MASLOC Director, Hajia Gamsu; and Tano North Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Sampson Pius Opoku.
Addressing the gathering, the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Mrs. Charity Gardener, underscored the significance of the project to the socio-economic development of Duayaw Nkwanta and the surrounding communities.
She noted that the 24-Hour Economy Market would provide market women and other traders with improved facilities to expand their businesses, increase their incomes and contribute more effectively to the local economy.
The project is also expected to boost economic activities, create employment opportunities and improve access to essential trading facilities for residents.
