The exercise recorded strong participation from traditional authorities, led by the Odikro of Kormantse and his elders, as well as Assembly Members of the two electoral areas. Personnel from the security agencies, staff of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, officials of the Municipal Assembly, and residents of the communities also took part in the exercise, which focused on clearing refuse, weeding, and improving the general cleanliness of the areas.

On his way to a meeting at the Central Regional Coordinating Council in Cape Coast, the Municipal Chief Executive Eric Stanley Acquach, made a brief stopover at the cleanup site to interact with participants.
He expressed his appreciation for their dedication and hard work, noting that such collective efforts are vital to promoting a clean and healthy environment.

He further encouraged residents to maintain the habit of proper sanitation beyond the exercise and assured them of the Assembly’s continued commitment to supporting sanitation initiatives across the Municipality.
The cleanup exercise forms part of the Assembly’s broader strategy to promote environmental cleanliness and enhance public health in all electoral areas.
