The commissioning ceremonies, held separately at Ntomem and Osubenso on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, brought together officials of the Kwahu South Municipal Assembly, education authorities, traditional leaders and residents.

Among those present were the Municipal Coordinating Director, staff of the Assembly, the Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Williams Nyarko Frempong, and members of his delegation, as well as traditional authorities from the beneficiary communities.

Speaking at the ceremonies, Hon. Effah Osei Bonsu David described the projects as legacy initiatives that were started under the previous administration and completed under the current government.

He urged the beneficiary communities to take ownership of the facilities and ensure proper maintenance to preserve them for future generations.

The Municipal Director of Education, Mr. Williams Nyarko Frempong, expressed satisfaction with the completion of the projects, describing the development as the fulfillment of a long-held dream of providing improved learning facilities for pupils.

The Chief of Ntomem, Nana Frimpong, expressed appreciation to the government and the MCE for the projects. He, however, appealed for the community to be connected to the national electricity grid to further improve living conditions and support development.

The newly commissioned facilities are expected to provide a more conducive learning environment for pupils and support efforts to improve education delivery in the two communities.
