All four schools were awarded with certificates of recognition, books, pens, mathematical sets, set of rulers, files and shorthand notebooks.
Mr. Yusif Usman, the Acting Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Director of NCCE, said the quiz competition was to instil a sense of nationalism, and acquaint the students with the content of the 1992 Constitution.
He said: “The quiz is part of the NCCE’s strategies to get students at the basic level to learn and better understand the contents of the 1992 Constitution, while having fun.”
According to him, the contest was also to educate them on their duties as citizens as enshrined in the 1992 Constitution, the history of Ghana, current affairs and values of good governance.
Mr. Usman encouraged the students to take keen interest in national issues and be responsible and law-abiding citizens to help build a better country for all.
