The projects were commissioned on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama as part of government’s continued efforts to strengthen the education sector and enhance learning conditions for pupils.
The newly completed facilities include classroom blocks for Nnipahiammoa D/A Primary School, Bono Manso D/A Kindergarten, and Domeabra D/A Junior High School. Also commissioned was a Kindergarten facility at Boana, which forms part of the government’s legacy projects.
Addressing community members during the ceremony, the commissioning team commended the contractors for the quality work delivered and emphasized the importance of maintaining the facilities to ensure their long-term benefit.
Traditional leaders (Nananom), school authorities, and residents of the beneficiary communities were also urged to take collective responsibility for protecting and properly utilizing the infrastructure to support the education of present and future generations.
The projects are expected to reduce overcrowding in classrooms, improve the learning environment, and expand access to quality education for children in the district.
The commissioning underscores government’s commitment to investing in human capital development and advancing its broader agenda of resetting Ghana for prosperity through improved educational infrastructure.
