Ablekuma Central Hosts Next Generation Local Governance Leadership Training
The Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly has hosted a two-day Next Generation Local Governance Leadership Training for members of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs).

The training, held at the Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly, was organised by the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs (MLGCRA) in collaboration with the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG) and the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS).
The programme was aimed at strengthening the leadership capacities of participants and improving effective local governance across the country.
Participants were equipped with knowledge and practical skills to enable them to provide responsive, transparent and accountable leadership in their respective assemblies.
The training also provided an opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of their roles and responsibilities in promoting effective local governance and community development.
The two-day programme ended with participants being awarded certificates in Next Generation Local Governance Leadership in recognition of their successful participation.
