Health minister inspects ongoing agenda 111 project site

The Minister of Health, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye in the company of Madam Adelaide Ntim Member of Parliament for the Nsuta- Kwamang-Beposo Constituency, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, the director general of the Ghana health service has inspected the ongoing construction site of the district hospital under the government's Agenda 111 flagship programme in the Sekyere Central District.

Mr. Kingsley Koduah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) and other officers from the national, regional and district directorates of the Ghana Health Service and assembly members of the assembly also joined the inspection team.

Speaking to the media after the inspection of the facility, the Minister applauded the constructor for the work done so far and encouraged them to fasten the pace of the project to ensure its early completion and handing over for usage by the good people of the district.

He reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring the completion of the project to help improve upon the healthcare delivery services in the district.

The Member of Parliament for the area expressed gratitude to the minister for his good efforts to ensure the successful completion of the project.

She promised to ensure her continuous support to the project supervisors and all other stakeholders towards the successful completion of the project.

The facility, when completed, would serve as the major district hospital for all major referral cases within the Sekyere Central district and its environs.
