Haruna Iddrisu commissions health facility.

Haruna Iddrisu, the Member of Parliament for the Tamale South Constituency in the Northern Region has commissioned a fully equipped Community-based Health Planning Service (CHPS) compound at Kootingli community.

The construction was through the National Health Insurance Levy of the MP’s Common Fund with support from the Metro Health Directorate.

Speaking during the inaugural ceremony, the MP says the health facility brings to an end the suffering to which one may have to travel several kilometers in order to access medical care.

He praised the inhabitants of the community for their relentless efforts at championing developments in the constituency.

He urged the residents to put the facility into good use and again called for a collective effort to foster growth.

The residents expressed excitement over the numerous developments facilitated by the MP.
